The risk of breast cancer hits home for me, and so many others worldwide.Ĭonsidering these alarming statistics, it is encouraging to learn that AI advancements in computer-assisted detection are enabling the early detection of mammogram spots and changes that are at risk of developing into breast cancer. On a personal note, 2 women in my immediate family are breast cancer survivors. 🔸Breast cancer is fatal for >40,000 American women annually.Īlthough October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, breast cancer can strike at any time. 🔸1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. 🔸Every 2 minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.
